Formhand Gripper Module FH-R80
The FH-R80 gripping module is our smallest and our CoBot pro.
It consists of a frame and a gripping cushion.
The Formhand gripping cushion grips almost any object.
With its 80mm diameter it succeeds in handling several different and complex objects, as the gripping module adapts to the geometry and surface of the components without any gaps. This makes it ideal for integration into collaborative applications.
The magic lies in the blue cushion: It is filled with a freely movable granulate. When gripping, the gripping cushion adapts to the object and thus creates a sealed system.
This shape adaptation is followed by the evacuation of the round gripping cushion, which consequently adapts to the surface in a form-fitting manner. During gripping, the gripping force is transferred to the entire covered surface of the object that is to be gripped. This results in a gentle object handling due to the low pressure difference, and also enables a payload of 2kg at its small size.
Other companies use the gripping module FH-R80 in their CoBot systems or in intralogistics to save additional costs caused by special grippers and set-up times.
The gripping cushion can be filled with different granulates and can therefore be customized for specific applications.
Should you nevertheless wish to make adjustments, the gripping cushion is attached to the frame module with a quick-release fastener and can thus be changed quickly.
